Participation of the Principal Investigator of HOME_EU, José Ornelas from ISPA, as a keynote speaker in the 15th European Congress of Psychology, of the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations, in Amsterdam on Wednesday the 12th July 2017. The keynote speech was entitled «Community Psychology Innovating Social Policies: Researching to End Homelessness».
A delegation of the HOME_EU members has participated on the Transformative Community Psychology Biennial Conference of the Society for Community Research and Action (27th APA Division), on 21-24 June in Ottawa, Canada. Partners had the opportunity to meet with Marybeth Shinn and with Paul Toro, the HOME_EU Scientific Advisory Board members.
Interviews with participants from the Social Adaptation Center in Opole “Szansa” (Opportunity) for the homeless families have already started. The research team was very welcome there. The interviewed participants expressed a clear interest in the interview.
